Usually not too far away from the front lines, artillery forces play a critical role in the aid of the defense and offense of front line infantry by pummeling enemy forces into submission. Because of the key role that artillery plays in battles, many come under fire by enemy combatants who are sent behind enemy lines to search and destroy those medium range guns. This GM is apart of the 10th Artillery Division, the same division i gave the mass production guncannon, hence addition of the same roman numeral for 10 on the skirts as i did the guncannon. However, this GMs sole responsibility is to get in between the enemy gelgoogs, zakus, rick doms etc who have made it past federation lines and
to protect the important guncannons from these threats.

Ingredients:
- All purpose acrylic paint
- Bandai decals
- US Air Force Decals for the roman numeral 10
- Water color wash
- Pastel weathering
- Dry Brushing silver
- Testor's dullcote

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I always thought it looked a bit wierd with a solid color for the entire body (whether red, blue, green, etc) with a white head. In my ideal UC universe, the federation would have standard colors much like any military with their standard colors. So I decided that for my collection, I should use a variation of the standard color for the GM as the standard scheme for all my "grunt" EFSF Mobile SUITs. I think if the UC universe was real, like any military, colors would be conforming (with the exception of special forces or ace pilots). So I chose light grey and primary red for my standard Feddie colors. With a GM 79 and a GM command to match in color and markings, I think it will be a nice addition to my HGUC collection. The seams where a real pain in the A for this kit, not paint friendly engineering at all. Anyways, as usual mistakes here and there but im glad i finally got to finish.

Ingredients:
- All purpose acrylic paint
- Iridescent wrapping paper for visor (From Michael's Craft Store)
- Bandai decals
- US Air Force Decals for the roman numeral 10
- Water color wash
- Pastel weathering
- Dry Brushing silver
- Testor's dullcote
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; Chen-Prescott drafted into the Federation Military as an officer to infantry and later the special forces of the 52nd in 0079. Later in 0079, due to superior test scores on the EFSF MS test, he was given an RX-79(g)and due to lack of paint supplies portions of factory grey would be left, however, the scheme proved advantageous on the Western American Mountian range where granite rock is abundant. As leader of the MS team, he was in charge of creating the 1st and 2nd Mobile SUIT platoon for the 52nd. The MS team earned the nickname "shock troopers" and the Spartan helmet insignia was given to the MS team after stopping the Zeon Invasion Force of North America in one of the bloodiest battles on the ground . After preventing Zeon from further advance, the 52nd new mission would be to eliminate and push back all Zeon Forces from the continent. In 0081-82, the Shock Troopers would be assigned as a special OPs MS team to hunt down all 17 Zeon MS scattered along the western part of the North America with guerilla warfare tactics. He would be the only original surviving Shock Trooper member to survive that campaign and hid his MS in the mountains. In 0083, due to his skills in hunting Zeon Remnants a new Federation branch known as the Titans would later recruit him, where he would serve as a Platoon leader for the Titans until news about a Colony gassing by the Titans caused him to defect to the AEUG. He retired after the Gryps War and continued the rest of his life as an adventurer of the American Mountains where he died. Some hikers have said to have seen his missing ground gundam patrolling the same grounds he campaigned in. Internal Affairs has denied any sightings due to lack of evidence, however, new reports of sightings still continue to this day.

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; This was one of the first ones I built according the fine scale modelling protocal.

starting from left to right:
HGUC RX-78 GP01 (Zephyranthes Gundam), RX-78GP01 FB (Full Vernier Zephyranthese Gundam), RX-78 GP03 (Gundam Stamen), RX-78 GP02 (Physalis Gundam)
Since these MS were research and development prototypes from Anaheim Electronic for the EFSF, I decided to make them the same color to represent a team. However, the GP02 will be stolen by the Zeon Remnants after the One Year War; hence the Zeon emblem on the shoulder thrusters.

HG 1/144 MS-06s Zaku 2 Char Aznable Custom

Titans (from left to right)

HGUC RGM-79Q Quel, HGUC RX-178 Gundam Mark 2, HGUC RMS-108 Marasai

Introduction

This rendition (I got from google) of a battle between Zeon and Earth Federation forces is similar to my perspective. For more information google "Universal Century" or go to http://www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/uc/background/timeline.html#msg

Future History:
During the near future of Earth's history, the population of humans reaches a critical point where famine, war, disease, and other apocalyptic events threaten the survival of humanity. To preserve the human existence, the countries of the world had to unite or face extinction. The unification of Earth paved the way for the creation of the Earth Federation. In anticipation of the Earths population exceeding 9 billion, the Earth Federation began a project to combat the problems that result in overcrowding. This project was called the Human Space Colonization Program and construction of the first space colony known as Side 1 around Earths orbit began. Right after the completion of Side 1, the human migration to space had began. To mark this historical event in human history the calender year AD was changed to UC (Universal Century). Forty years later in UC. 40, half of all the human population had emigrated to space and by the year UC 50, 9 of 11 billion people have emigrated to space ending the HSC Program. However with more humans now living in space than Earth, political tensions increased and by UC 0078 about half of the space colonies favored independence from the Earth Federation.
In UC 0079, the One Year War began and half of the human race wiped out. The story of Mobile SUITs starts in 0079 during the One Year War.

A Different Kind of War
The war that was fought during the One Year War between the Zeon forces and the Earth Federation was similar to that of World War 1. It was a new war that no one had experienced fighting. It was a war where the technologies used were experimental and unprecedented. A war that involved poison gas, nuclear weapons, and colony drops on Earth. This was a war with no satellite guided missile and global positioning instruments. No longer can war be fought hundreds of miles away with a push of a button. Laser guided, computer guided, and GPS guided ballistics would not work due to technological counter measures or simply because satellites used in space were easily destroyed. The war was fought with the human senses. Dog fighting and hand to hand and eye to eye. This paved the way for the ultimate military weapon created by the Zeon Forces. These weapons were called Mobile SUITs. Over 60 feet in height and with one pilot, these war machines were able to perform any task given to them. Mobile SUITs would be the premier war machine during the Universal Century. There would be many variations of Mobile Suits made for each type of environment including Space, Atmospheric, Land and Aquatic.

HGUC Mobile SUITs
This is the place where I will be sharing my interpretation of Mobile SUITs from the Universal Century timeline with you, other fellow hobbyists, and Mobile SUIT lovers. All of the kits I am collecting/building are in 1/144 scale. They are plastic model kits produced by Bandai, Japan. Each are glued, sanded, deseamed, painted, decaled, washed, weathered and detailed accordingly. This is my way of expressing myself in an artistic way. Thank you for viewing.

- UC Angler
